Best Book for Stock Patterns
Is there a Book that has Stock Patterns? Full size sheets and or measurements. Classic patterns , open grip style.

Not interested in any goofy monte carlo rollover, or thump hole uglyness

Which book is best for getting patterns?

Alvin Linden Stockmaking.
Otherwise contact Jerry Fisher for his patterns. He sells them for not a lot of money.

I agree on Alvin Linden's book and patterns being excellant.

Jerry Fisher's patterns, full size, for the 98 Mauser and 03 Springfield are available through Brownells and Midway.

I'm not sure Brownell's carries them anymore. I bought mine at an ACGG auction in Reno. I'm sure Jerry still sells them.
