gunsmith recommendations
I would like some input from those who have had a complete custom rifle built in standard sporter weight. Did the gunsmith deliver the accuracy and finish quality promised? Who to stay away from? Thanks in advance.

Because of UPS, FedEx and the USPS, it really doesn't matter where he is located. For instance, I get guns from all over the country and points beyond with no problem. Big Grin

What did you have in mind Russ?

I want a 7mm 08 built on a trued rem 700 or win 70 action with a 22 to 24 inch barrel in the standard remington contour or maybe a little heavier. I cant decide on kreiger, lilja or douglas for my barrel. As far as stocks goes I do want synthetic with the action glass bedded and the barrel free floated. I like a fairly light trigger. I really want a super tack driver in the type of rifle described above and I have never had a custom rifle so its about time.
And yes I am south of the mason dixon line....right outside of Macon Georgia.
