What is the best way to smooth out a CZ 550 action? emery paste? fine (1200) sandpaper? which parts need attention?

Mold stones are commonly used for slicking up actions.

tiggertateAnd you're not looking for a highly polished finish. You want enough polish to cut off the high spots but not so much you end up with 95% surface contact and unintended drag or worse yet, slop.
