Wilton Vise Parts

I got an old Wilton vise from a buddy and it needs jaws 4x2", a retaining ring on the clamp screw, and a bolt with a extra long nut that has a handle on it for swiveling the jaws.

I've been on the net looking for parts, but can't find any.

Any suggestions?

I have a buddy that owns a auto parts store and he might be able to get parts.They have a web sight the name is Denver City Auto parts you should be able to find the web address.If you can't find it let me know the model and what you need and I will see what he can come up with.Good Luck

I just did a Google search for wilton vice repair parts, & got lots of info.
Grainger even has parts for them. Meby the key was in the spelling, VICE.

Well, I've finally given up.

Been to the website before and have found nothing. It's strange.

Went to Grainger Supply yesterday and they had no parts. This is obviously an old vise.

I don't think that's the problem. I bought my Wilton at Lowe's for less than 50 bucks. Have the one with 4-inch jaws, too. I think you cannot find replacement parts because the things are so inexpensive with which to begin, the manufacturer sees no reason to produce and inventory spare parts. Suggestion: Go buy a new one...

Wilton, like so many others,makes different quality tools. Yes they make a 4" vise that you can get for 50 bucks.
But their good 4" vise lists for $710.00 in MSC plus freight for a 61 lb. item.
Don't think that there's not a difference in quality.

Is this the Wilton "bullet" vise?

I've gotten parts from Grainger for vises that date back to the WWII era at least. I bet they have parts, even if the "help" doesn't know it. Service isn't their strong suit.

Wilton is the Cadillac of vises and worth the effort to get workable.

A 40.00 dollar vise...well, I'm sure they're good for something.
