snap caps for what?
I bought a bag of snap caps at a gun store this fall for a dollar.
I got seven, one 45 acp,two of another size ,and 4 of a third.I cant figure out what they are .thought maybe someone could help.
The first size is a rimmed cartridge, the rim measures .532" in dia. and is about .045 thick the diameter just in front of the rim is.470".the oal is 1.475",but I dont think it matters. I have 2 of these.
The next one is also rimmed, the rim diameter is
.680",the thickness is .045",the diameter just in front of the rim is .620" and the oal is 1.465". I have 4 of those.
If anyone can tell what they are,i would like to know.I couldnt find it in any of my scant references, thought maybe it may be a shotgun or metric or something obsolete.

good for practicing dry firing and checking out your firing pin spring performance.Keep them someplace until you develop the need for them
