I'm interested in restoring an old 22. I have never done this before and need some help. The stock has a few dings and needs stain. I would also like to reblue the metal parts. Any suggestions on books or websites to help me out would be greatly appreciated. Also any suggestions on brands or types of stain/blue. Thanks.

If your a novice as I am look no further than Midway they have things in kit forms for us non pro's.

also might look at brownell's lots of kits there also.
