220 Swift bolt face, re-barrel options???
What would be my caliber options to re-barrel a 220 swift bolt face?

Should be the same as a bolt for 30-06, .308 etc.

the semi-rim doesn't make a difference then. Good to know.
Thanks.

It is slightly different than the 308 bolt face, smaller.
I’ve had two swifts made on Rem 700s that had the .473 bolt face. Still own one and both work just fine.

SAAMI specs say it is exactly the same as other .473 bases; .473 minus ten thou.
The body is slightly smaller....that would not affect the bolt face.
I admit I do not own one.

Exactly, SAAMI specs say the rim is the same. It is the rim however that can cause feeding issues as a slanted magazine box is required for use as a repeater. I shoot a couple of Mausers in .220 and only load two, making sure the rim of the one on top is ahead of the rim of the cartridge below it.
