Install a Sako Extractor-Remington Bolt
Can someone recommend a smith to install a Sako style extractor in my Remington bolt?

Hello,
Just a suggestion, but some have been installing the AR15/16 extractor instead of the Sako. A bit stouter and whole lot easier to come by.

Isn't the AR15 extractor bigger than the Sako? If that were the case, wouldn't the AR15 extractor be the better way to go?(sorry to jabroney the thread, just figured since we were kinda on the subject...)

Are either the Sako and or AR15 extractor simple to replace if they go bad down the road (after a modification of course)? I know the remington 700 rivetless extractor is a major pain to replace.
