How do you remove matte black finish from Ruger actions?

What is the best/easiest way to remove Matte black finish from ruger rifles such as the model 77 Hawkeye African or the Craig Boddington #1's. Just curious. Thanks,

I would guess that bead blasting would do a pretty good job. You might try a bluing remover on a hidden part of the action, that might work also.
