Will it work ??
I know that I am wanting something that makes no sense to most BUT. I sold a Sako L-46 years back that had a Fagan Stock Douglas BBL and was chambered in 218 Mashburn Bee. At this time I had a BUNCH of 22 Hornets, standard Bees BUT this Sako Really shot 1/2" Groups were the Normal.
I am aware I could use a Winchester 43 but I would rather have a more modern action design in todays market which Bolt action REPEATER would be the best choice Ruger in 357/44Mag CZ 527 in Hornet or ??
Thanx,
Jim

So is your question that you are looking for a modern action as a basis to build a bolt action rifle in 218 Mashburn Bee? Is there anything else, such as stainless, or push feed vs controlled, or are you simply wanting something with the most potential for having the best accuracy possible?

for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

I am looking for something that will give me the best accuracy that can be obtained I feel that the Controled feed would work the best , but they are not my favorite action.

I know that the rim is sometimes a issue with magazine feeding
Thanx,
Jim

So why don't you just look around and buy another L-46? You may not find it this day or this week, but they ARE available out there. That's what I'd do....

Accuracy is not always the product of the action or barrel, it is a combination of how it is put together regardless of the action, within reason of course.
