Got a guy who wants to make a 260 out of a 6.5 WSM. Problem is the bolt. Anyone want to swap a standard bolt face MK 2 bolt for a WSM bolt to make themselves a SAUM or WSM. Might even be able to pay a few $ to boot. Please let me know! kailuacustom@msn.com

Can't help with bolt, but I have a question. Will the rifle even hold the .260 round in the mag. and will feed?

Uhh...just a question, maybe it's the Vicaden talking to me again but...why doesn't he just download the cartridge instead of rechambering? Or is he a handloader? I'm sorry I can't help with the bolt but that just seems like a easier solution to this idea. Good luck!

Yes it feeds fine. Even extracts but dumps the spent case on the follower.
Dear Metalsmith-
I addressed all these things with him before he started! He said it was to be a single shot---now he`s changed his mind. Thus the bolt problem.
