Win m70 "adl' to "bdl"
Will an action from a blind magazine model 70 Winchester work with the innards of a hinged floorplate model - in other works just by changing parts and stock?

Sorry if this has been beat to death, I did a search and didn't find anything.

Regards,
Telly

Telly,

If you did a search and didn't find anything, then the topic hasn't been beaten near enough. [Big Grin]

The answer you are looking for is yes, other than the stock, magazine assy and bottom metal or lack of it, they're the same.

On many of the composite stocks you will notice that under the magazine the composite is barely tabbed. You can use the stock. On wood stocks carefully inlet complete bottom metal if saving original stock.
