Any opinion on Burris Signature rings?

wildboarAny opinion on Burris Signature rings?
Hi, I'm interested in their "Pivoting syntetic inserts" that should avoid any scope misalignement, but do they really keep the scope firmly? Thanks.

mhoI have used these rings quite a bit of late - I mostly like that they don't leave ring marks, should one decide to remount the scope. I'm planning on using them for my .308 Win currently being built. Other than that, I have only used them for smaller calibers, but would not hesitate using them on something with more recoil either.
I'm a believer.

Mike ScottI have been switching every rifle to the Signature rings anytime I mess with a scope and they work great. The set I put on a 50 BMG seems to be slipping a bit so this may be a case of too much scope mass and recoil for a fairly small ring contact surface.

MKane160I've got them on my .375 Taylor...No scope movement and no scope marks. Does it get any better?

Hot CoreOnce you use the Burris Signature Rings, it is very difficult to even think about using something else - Great Design!
If a person is into heavy recoil calibers on light rifles with HUGE Scopes(like me), the Synthetic Inserts get an excellent grip on those Tubes and do not allow them to slide forward.
If a person is into l-o-n-g distance shooting(like I used to be), the Eccentric Inserts allow you to "Pre-Adjust the Scope" so your Range of Inclination is far beyond what you can achieve with regular old Rings.
I still don't like the Redfield Style Base Design, but they also offer Weaver Style and Dual Dovetail.

Plateau HunterYeah I like them a lot and use them on all my hunting rifles. I use the Zee ring version which fits the Weaver style bases. There are more elegant rings for custom rifles and high end stuff but for everyday real world they are super. Plateau Hunter

ireload2I really like the Signatures and the eccentric inserts will permit you to correct for some problems that you cannot correct easily by other means. They also get a really good grip on a matte finished scope.

22WRFI use them on my .300 win Mag with no problems whatsover.

craigsterI'm using them on a 30-06, 375H&H, and Siam Mauser in 45-70. They work great. As time goes on I will continue to use them and probably change out the rings to Signatures on a lot of my other rifles.

GSP7Nobody has mentioned that they are bulkyer than standard luepold or burris rings. I have 2 sets and like them but they arent's as slim

hvy barrelI have them a 338-06, no problem so far.

butchlocmike scott - try using a 3rd ring on the 50 - that cured all my problems

NBHunterI only have one set so far on a 338. The rifle is a Mauser 98 and the bases were not on the exact plane. The gun acted almost like the scope had gone to pot or something as the adjustments were inconsistant. Bought the signature rings with a .20" insert in the back and the rifle shoots well and more importantly the same place no mater what day I pick it up. Problem solved.
