.257 Roy in a Ruger #1??????

I have a buddy, that needs a .257 Roy. He wants it on a Ruger #1 platform. Would this be possible with a 25/06? or does he need a Magnum config.?

I've seen it done on that exact configuration.
The extractor has to be worked on a bit, but it's do-able.

You can rechamber a 25-06 and have a .257 WBY, a fairly inexpensive way to go. Then you go to Brownells and order an extractor/ejector for the proper case, 7mm Mag, 375 H&H, 300 Mag as they all use the same parent case, and you are good to go.
