Rear express sights (fiber optic or tritium)
Does anyone know of any high quality (rear) express sights with fiber-optic inserts (or outlines) for a rifle?

I am familiar with the Tru-Glo brand (which are great on my muzzleloader), but that is not what I am looking for.

Something more along the lines of the classic wide "v" pattern.

Alternatively, anyone know of a 'smith who can fashion them from regular express sights (i.e. add fiber-optic inserts)?

Thanks,
Garrett

Take a look at the rear sight on the UGEX Chapuis. It's a skeleton with red insert that 'MIGHT' be what you are looking for. I rather liked the one on my 9.3.

NECG has a really nice fixed sight but no folding leaves.

Thanks for the heads up on the NECG. It's close, but still not what I am looking for.

I want a wide fixed "V"; optimally with fiber optic inserts on each side of the V.

I think if I can find the sight itself I can probably find a machinist for miniture parts who can cut the groove or cylinder for me to lay in the fiber optic material.

I appreciate the help.

As an idea:

What if you were able to take a fixed leaf and have a groove cut in it and painted with fluorescent paint? I am thinking of something similar to the rear sight on a Glock. This might work if you cannot find someone to fashion a fiber optic sight for you.
