28ga shotgun tubes
I am building a single shot rifle, and as it looks so far, it will turn out fine. ( I had my doubts for a while)

Anyway, Now I have my sights set on another project. A small frames two barrel set O/U with .17 rem or similar rifle barrels and 28 ga shotgun barrels. Problem seems to be finding 28 ga tubes. Do any of you know a source?

I don't have phone number or address, but Hugh Lomas imports barrels from Italy. He lives in Wisconsin.

Idea- get a Mossberg O/U 2 barrel
28ga and 20 gauge set. About 700 bucks,
on Gunbroker and other places..
That way 28ga is already done.
Them get your 17cal barrels and have a
smith monoblock them into the 20ga breech
sections, made by cutting barrels ahead
of pivot to make monoblocks that fits gun.
Should be a huge amount easier and less
expensive than making it all from scratch.
A smith by name of John Bangel does this,
I have heard.ED

Great idea Ed. Thanks!! I will look into it.

I can do all the machine work, but just needed a source for tubes.
