Thought all you people who paid money for the dedicated server would like to know how Swamp has chased another poster off his site.

The above is what happens when I try to post on HuntAmerica. As best I can remember this is what I posted.

Swamp do you have business with Jack that you need to contact him? It is starting to appear that others are right and all you are doing is trying to stir up some s_ _ _ but all you are doing is stirring up your own odor.

I expect jimmyd223 will join us any moment now. I did not use any profanity are even a insult. I really don't care too much to be honest. Every thing I liked there has migrated here. I am going to have to quit doing business with anyone who advertises there as a matter of prinicple. Too bad, I was headin to Bozeman on work related business and planned on stopping by one of his advertisers in Belgrade for some work on a rifle [Frown]

I wonder if there are any rebates being offered for the dedicated server fund?

I just got a call from Howard asking me to check on this thread and his posts. Not only were his threads deleted, he is banned electronically from posting as I imagine I will be after this post. Howard said that there was nothing profane about his posts, he just reacted contrary to the idiot in charge.

Swamp's purpose in creating this post were just a thinly veiled attempt at creating hits on his site and nothing else. He does not care one whit about Jack and shows it in his actions. He just wants money coming in. I suspect that his advertixers are smarter than the thinks. His actions are only deserving of being ignored and he can slowly fade away into the dusk. If you get a chance to see this post it wil likely be that you saw it before Swamp did.

Some time ago I said that this was a good site and if it failed it would be the result of the management and nothing else. That is obvously coming through. The members are good people who are not being fooled by his stupid comments and actions.

I'm one step ahead of you. I didn't receive any e-mails, I just noticed my posts (my handle is 8mag there) were gone and tried to post and got the message you had. In the original Jack Belk thread that Swamp pulled I made a statement to the effect that if his advertisers didn't read the board they should. I will be writing a hand written letter to every advertiser on his site. He has it out for anyone that is remotely in the business and doesn't advertise with him. The MRC stuff is a perfect example. His piling on Belk is no suprise and he would/will do it to anyone he felt should have been advertising with him. What the idiot fails to realize is the quality posters such as Jack, Chic and many other good people IS what attracted people to the forum. Where else can you get such good advice? Here! and I hope the migration contines.

Maybe he'll at least get some pleasure in thinking my thoughts are purely revenge. I fiqured the way things were going I would be banned and with his lack of class wasn't concerened. It is somewhat of a shame though as I truely enjoyed it there untill recently and learned a great deal.

Actually, there are a lot of good people on the list, for example, Troy Adams, Jim Borden etc. They were only trying to reach some of the participants. The way Swamp gas is acting, you do not need to go on a boycott campaign, unless of course they are a French company, lol. Swamp will soon make the whole place go up in smoke with his own two hands and small mind.

There are certainly many good folks doing business there. I do a lot of business with one of them. I'm not looking to do them intentional harm, it really is no different than a good French company I choose to not do business with based on there affiliation, of course they have no choice. The internet is full of advertising choices. I simply won't support those that support him with their advertiser dollars.

I'm kinduv holding my breath waiting to see if I get the boot over there as well. I had a post deleted on me a month or so ago that was tounge in cheek about Omegaman and Prospector. I was a little suprised he did not send me a pm telling me why he deleted it. Oh well it's his web page I guess he can do what he wants. Me thinks swamp is a little sensitive about Jack. I haven't posted much at HA for well over a year.

Most of the time, I stay in the Canadaian section only, and occasionally go to Rifles or Big Game.

I thought the server fund was in bad taste, although I did make a small donation the FIRST time around. I didn't expect it to become a regular occurence.

Almost everyone that I liked reading there is over here anyway- and there is no censorship.

I've been requested to remove the comment due to Marshal's threat of having AR shutdown by the Attorney General of Mashacusettes.

Perhaps a better way of stating it would be that any individual that has to hide behind a lawyer is a sorry excuse for a man. Nothing personal, just an observation of behavioural science.

I have complained about censorship at HA for 4 years, but I do not think that boycotting the advertisers is the way to go. The advertisers are trying to reach the hunting community, and there are only a few economical ways to do that. The presence of an advertisement on HA does not mean that the advertiser encourages Swamp to ban forum participants.

I have done business with two of the advertisers at Huntamerica, DNR Sport and Talley. On both occasions I dealt with Swamp.

He processed all my several orders very quickly and very efficiently. I really could not have asked for any better service. And I will be more than happy to deal with him again.

Just thought of letting you all know of my own experience with advertiser at HA.

I removed myself from HA long ago,for reasons mentioned. Everyone thinks differently,but I'm fully capable of Posting a message that is of my own words/thoughts,less a Moderators input/massaging. Thought police interest me none.

Anyhow....with something bordering on consensus there,I gotta deviate a smidge upon the Advertisers. Firstly,my guess is they are not privvy to the current HA status of heavy handed lunacy. Swamp is totally off his fucking rocker and I doubt those good folks know that,as of now.

So rather than punish great firms,for building great products,my efforts would lie elsewhere. I think it in their best interest to inform them of how their Ad dollars are being spent,the current state of affairs and allow them a say in the matter. For those foolish enough to devoutly back Swamp's stance,I think a boycott is of merit.

To boycott the innocent,is unjust IMHO and would be akin to boycotting AR because it too is a Talk Forum.

Point bein',it is high time that Swamp gets to lie in the bed he's made,but one shouldn't seek to disrupt great conduct of his uninformed Advertisers,for the great sevices they offer.

Besides,I'm awaiting delivery of a scope I ordered from D&R on Saturday.............(grin)
