<George Capriola>I have a Remington 700VLS with 1 in 9 1/8" rifling. It likes bullets in the range from 75 grains (Hornady V-Max) to 87 HPBT Match best. It didn't like 70 grain bullets, and I haven't tried anything heavier than 87 grains.
Regards, George.

<Don Martin29>That 9.25 twist should be just fine. I have worn out a number of 6 mm bbls and I rebarrel them with 1-10" That 9 twist should be about the same.
If the rifle is special purpose and built to that purpose then tell us but for any regular 6 mm those are the best twists.
