Remington 700 Firing Pins

Hello Group,
I'm thinking about upgrading the firing pins in my 700's, and the Speedlock Systems firing pin kits in Sinclair's caught my eye. Is there any measurable benefit to this "upgrade", or is it more of a $57 placebo for the shooter? Thanks for the feedback!

I would suggest that you do a search at:
www.benchrest.com
www.xtremeaccuracy.com
There has been some significant discussion regarding these "enhancements". The short side of this is light hits, failure to fire, etc. You get the picture. Look for this information as it makes great reading.

George, I just installed a speedlock firing pin in my custom REM 700 SA in 7mm08 Ackley. I just completed this rifle so I will post again in a few days to let you know if I experience any problems during the barrel break-in, fire-forming process. sure-shot

I have installed these for a few people, no one seems to notice any differences at all.
