I have a German Weatherby Mark V in 300 WBY that I would like to rebarrel. Will a barrel off of the current Mark V action fit? Are the threads the same?

Is the receiver a Mk V? Some very early Weatherby's were made on FN actions.

Yes, it's a nine lug Mark V. The safety is like a model 700 instead of on the bolt like the newer Mark V actions.
