Optimum Barrel length .375hh?

Gents
I am about to fit a silencer to my zkk 602 in .375hh and since the muzzle is going to be threaded I also wonder if something could be gained by making the barrel shorter, or if it is needed to be the original length of 24" to be kept legal for the big 5 everywhere?

Second question, how do I remove the soldering of the front sight without damaging the barrel?

22" and a careful application of propane torch is what I would do
