Quick look at the drawings says yes. You would need to alter the extractor as well.

OK took a second look. Depending on what source I look at I see the 25-06 neck as .291 however the 257Wby shows anywhere from .291 to .281 with something in the .283 most often.

If that is the case a normal 257 reamer might leave you with a little bit of a step down around 2.494 or the last .046". I doubt it would be an issue. I've heard some comment that the ring would work the brass more at that point for a quicker failure. Take a neck reamer and smooth it up if it is an issue.

No harm in shooting a 257Wby case with a .283" neck in a .291" necked chamber.
