Fal GruntTiny Weld
If you do any welding of Mauser bolts and receivers (or case hardened parts in general) spending a bit of time reading about Carbon migration might be an eye opener. I ran into an issue on a project and spent half a day on the phone with the manufacturer of my preferred filler rod.
I am not a professional welder, so I won't bore you with my experiences, though I have taken several "certified" classes as a tool maker. That really only scratches the surface.
Fantastic job getting the job done with what you had on hand. And most important. If it worked, job well done. (I suspect it did)
