bowmanHELP!! BAR trigger
Need info on good smith to shape-up trigger or source for replacement trigger. This one's awful! You'd think that Browning would put a decent trigger into a $1,000 gun!!!!!!!

<G.Malmborg>bowman,
Cleaning up the pull on the factory trigger is a pretty straight forward job. If you can't find anyone in your area to do the job, you're welcome to email me.
Good luck,
Malm

GCTimney Triggers works on BAR triggers. All that's needed is to send the trigger group to Timney, cost used to be around $70.00 a few years ago. The results Timney gets is directly related to your particular triggers tolerances. Some of these are put together with a closer fit and tighter tolerances. Timney is able to safely do more work and achieve better results with this trigger than with a sloppy built unit. Call them for more details, I think they're on the web a good search should turn them up.
