The books are hopefully printed before they will be sold

I can't see why I shall wait for the other 1897 to be sold?
What is so special about book no 98?

maxmanYup - I've been looking for actual machinist drawings for this action for a while now. As you said, we are talking about machining techniques that are 100 years old. It should be much easier to turn out that same part using modern equipment. I'm hoping there are real drawings in the book. maxman

wanna577Nice find on the book. So does it have actual blueprints in it? Or just general drawings. I got the book by Springfield Armory on building the 1903 Springfield. It was really interesting to see the actual machinery and methods they used. I scanned most of the blueprints of course! Inter library loan is great.

wanna577So does this book contain blueprints?

Alberta CanuckDepends on when the copyright was granted. If the book has passed into the public domain, the recent lengthening of the copyright period in the US does not apply. It is not retroactively lengthened to bring books back under copyright protection. Wolfe Publishing reprints out-of-copyright books all the time...

1JDANIELCopyright laws last for 75 years I believe. Although you can refile the copyright, it is seldom done.

mbogo375Johan,
If number 1 is not available, the only other obvious number to request is number
'98 , but I am beating you to that request as well

. In fact, it would be fitting to limit a reprint to 98 copies.
