Doc1972Rem 700 SPS stock.
I am looking at purchasing a Remington 700 SPS. Does anyone know which stock is compatible for replacement.
I imagine an ADL stock can't be used as they are bling magazine, but will a BDL stock fit or not.
Thanks in advance.

SnowwolfeNot sure what you are asking. The SPS is a Rem 700 with a floorplate. Are you asking to purchase a SPS stock, or are you asking what stock will fit the SPS ?

I am asking what type of stock will fit an SPS. IE if I buy an SPS and want to replace the stock(with wood or laminated)does an ADL or a BDL stock fit. As in my first post I imagine an ADL can't fit due to the blind magazine as the SPS has a flootplate.
Is the BDL stock compatible with an SPS, if not what stock is.

SnowwolfeActually either will fit. You can replace it with a BDL style and use the stock floorplate and parts, or if you do not like the floorplate you can buy the parts from the factory to change it over to the "adl" style. I beleive all you need is the magazine follower and the spring. Give the factory stock a try. I bought my son one of these rifles in stainless (30-06) and it really soaks up the recoil nicely. Seems to be made well enough.
