Fair price for a VZ24

I located one. Not been sporterized at all. Made in Check. The tag says $224.00. I think that is a bit much. This is going to be a full blown custom, I have no problem with an FN or any commercail, so matching numbers do not mean anything

Keep looking. You can find a VZ-24 somewhere that has been tinkered with for much less than this.

Or, you can find an FN or one of the better Mauser and pay a little more.

I personally wouldn't give that much for a VZ-24 unless I was just really wanting one badly...

I saw a couple at a gunshow last weekend that were a little worn for 115.00. They would need a bit of polishing but they would make a nice rifle, I saw another at a pawn shop fpr 99.00. I would like to find a rwal nice one to shoot as is for awhile then make a sporter out of it...tj3006
