I have a couple of Remmy rifles with HS stocks that are chambered in 308 that I need better recoil pads for.

One is a 700P LTR and the other is a 700VS.

I see that Midway has the pre-fit R3 for the Remmy "700" on sale but they don't mention the VS or the LTR in their applications list.

Will they fit? If not does anyone know where to get a prefit pad for these rifles and what the Remmy part number or URL is?

btw... I also have a Model 7 in 300SAUM that I hunt a LOT with and it begs for an R3 also. Any ideas for this one?

I don’t know if this is what you are looking for but the Remington part # for the R-3 pads is: 202050. They supposedly fit all synthetic stocked Remington rifles and shot guns...or that’s what they claim anyway. Remington gets $35.00 for them. http://www.remington.com

Brownells sells them also for $29.99 retail or $22.84 dealer cost.
