<JoeM>77/22 conversion to 17 caliber
Hello,
I was wondering, would a 17 Ack. Hornet or a 17 K hornet feed through the rotary mag on a 77/22 Hornet?
Also, assuming it was a straight rebarrel, how much would it cost for such a conversion. Was thinking along the lines of a 24" barrel, I would provide the blank. Also want action trued, lugs lapped, free floated.
The other possible action I am looking at is a Browning Micro. Same questions.

<George Capriola>Joe,
Check out the .19 Calhoon at
www.jamescalhoon.com and see what you think. I'm going to convert my Ruger 77/22VHZ and pick up a CZ 527 in .22 Hornet (I just gotta have a Hornet in the house!). I was thinking about converting the Ruger to a K-Hornet, but this .19 Calhoon conversion kit has really caught my attention. I don't think I can live without one!
Regards, George

<GoWyo!>JoeM, yep it sure will. My buddy had one done by Fred Z. of Z-Hat Arms of Casper. He is of the Hawk/ Scovill line fame. Anyway, this little rifle is pretty sweet. I haven't gotten to shoot it yet, but hopefully I will some day. Gary
