The action would then be re-barreled appropriately. But, my concern is the question in the title.
THANKS!!!

A new model 70 will need the spacer removed from the rear of the mag box probably new follower.
Along with alteration or replacement of the bolt stop and ejector.

As usual just my $.02

I have done exactly that; changed a 7 mag to 375 H&H. Take spacer out of box (drill out spot welds), cut off bolt stop. Follower works as is. Ejector works fine as is on push feeds; and works ejecting brass on CRF, but to eject live rounds you need to cut off a bit.
