just purchased a new Weatherby Accumark. I know that the barrel is free floating but it floats all the way to the receiver. I would think it would stop a inch or so away. Question are they all that way? Thanks

First, I don't know if Accumarks are all that way, but having it float all the way back to the receiver shouldn't do any harm. A lot of folks like a little pad under the barrel at the breech end, but I don't see any benefit one way or the other on a sporter weight barrel.
