muzzle diameter
Gents:

I was dooing some reading and am wondering: what contour from what maker(s) will be a .700 at the muzzle? Would that be unwieldy at say, 24"?

In addition, does anyone have any photos of sucha barrel?
Thanks!

Typically this is a #5 contour and is a pretty darn heavy barrel.

That is what I thought. I think on another thread around here someone was asking about the stylings of English made rifles and how they are often small (e.g. .600 at the muzzle).

This is designed to get the balance remaining between the hands?
