...never saw the trearment before. This is a 98, and I think it would sure be an advantage to make those "beer can" bullets feed...came off an old King Gunsight rifle Bolt is not modified in any way

shootawayIMO,it's not worth the trouble of getting FN bullets or spitzers to feed.Go with the RN.

hawkinsYup it's a Yugo, nothing to do with feeding.
Good luck!

It clear the bolt it almost has to be a Yugo. The Yugo does not have the full projection opposite extractor...Or the bolt really has been modified to remove the projection of the left locking lug.

Duane WiebeNo..there;s no modification...I never saw this on any Mauser I took apart, including Yugos, but always fun to learn and see something new. BTW this is an old FN with C ring

WestpacTakes a pretty damned small beer can if you ask me. You sure it isn't part of a beer can crusher?

Duane WiebeWell...Okay...I was refering to the shape of the bullet nose...very blunt, squared off i.e. "beer can"

whizzbangI must respectfully disagree; it takes full size beer cans it is just in a reeeally big vise.
