ColoradoMattWhere to get barrel band express sight base to fit 1.1" barrel shank?
Where can I find a barrel band type rear site base with the following features:
1) Long enough to accept dovetail type three leaf express sights (NECG).
2)Inside diameter wide enough to be
threaded onto a long 1.1" diameter barrel shank.
3)Recoil shoulder/lug on bottom.
Thanks ahead of time for any info.

Duane WiebeI received a bbl/action with the same outsized dimensions. The easiest fix was to turn down the barrel. By the time you screw around making parts, you're money ahead

ColoradoMattI need the long barrel shank and site to fit it because an old 416 Rigby big game rifle will be reproduced that has such a shank and sight. Thanks for the advice.

tomo577why don't you just sweat on the base - forget about threading.
and for the recoil lug underneath sweat it onto the base and put a screw through it and through the base and slightly into the barrel to keep everything solid
