505GShouldn't be a problem cutting the plastic
but you might find putting a new pad on a bit
harder as you will probably have cut away the anchor points for the screws.
But cutting down shouldn't be a problem.

WestpacYou will likely need to fit and epoxy a piece of wood in the back end and attach the new pad in the traditional manner with screws.
This is an HS Precision stock but the idea is the same. The HS Precision stock is foam filled requiring removing some of the foam so the block will sit flush. For the tupperware stock, I would recommend filling the butt end with spray foam insulation as well, then epoxying the block of wood to the foam as well as the interior of the stock just for added insurance. Be sure to rough up and prep the stock well before applying the epoxy.

I think your problem has been solved.
In regards to the recoil pad, Limbsaver have a number of pre fit recoil pads that fit the Rem SPS stock and you MIGHT be able to get away with grinding this down as the shape is already the same as the stock.
Either way, i think the two posts above are great.
