MRC short action standard face
Just got my stainless short standard face actions from MRC. I'm pretty impressed, fit and finish were top notch. Took them to my gunsmith, handed them to him and told him to look them over. Triggers were at a clean 3lbs and after 30 minutes of him taking them apart and inspecting them he handed them back and told me to go buy some barrels.

WooHoo! That's good news! And Dan saying that they had just received the LEFT handed stainless actions at the machine shop. So hopefully we're talking a couple of weeks for mine to be delivered! (SS, standard bolt face, Single digit serial number)
Of course now I have the 10 freak'n day Commiefornia waiting period. Yep, I'm a big threat to go out in a fit of passion and order an unbarreled action, wait for 8 months and then go out and shoot someone! Sheesh!

Careful now Fjold! Don't get too exited. Delays can still happen. That way you won't be disappointed if it should take a couple of days more. Geez, this is like preparing for Christmas

Still waiting for my stainless lefty long in standard, but it's getting easier now knowing it won't be too much longer...
