Jim Kobe6PPC tight neck
I need a reamer for a tight neck (262 or so) for a rework project. The guy didn't tell me he wanted a tight neck chamber so I only need to recut about a quarter inch of new chamber.
Anyone got one they want to sell or rent.

butchlambertJim, I have 2. Both are .262 neck. One has longer freebore than the other. You are welcome to use either.

Jim, sorry I can't help you with a reamer. But I'll just ask you: did your customer SPECIFY a .262 neck?? If not, these days it actually makes a lot of sense to use a .269 (or similar) neck. The .262 was popular when Sako brass needed to be turned, so people kept using that neck diameter. In these days of better and beefier Lapua brass, a .269 neck will still require you to turn your necks (assumig you use Lapua .220 Russian), but you can do so a lot easier, with equally good results.
If was my chamber, and I wanted to turn, I'd get a .269 neck.
