Mod. 70 2-Position Safety
Is there such a thing as a 2-position replacement safety for the Win. Model 70, and if so where one find find them?

I'm curious, what would be the improvement over a 3 position safety? And remember Jayhawker, I'm from Missouri so you'll have to talk slowly and use small words.

Yes. Someone mistakenly thought an old M70 had only a 2-position safety, because of a worn detent.

If your talking about a new model 70, and not the old pre-war M-70, all you have to do is weld up the center detent hole and re-case harden it.
