Source for Mauser action screw taps
I have been looking for a tap for mauser action screws. Has anyone bought these before? Have a supplier?

I've looked a bit but not found anything. I've sent out a couple quotes, only gotten one back so far. VERY expensive unless I buy a large quantity.

edited to add: I know Brownells has them, but every tap I have ever gotten from brownells has been junk(in my opinion).

I did find these two sources, anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks for the taps & dies lead. I had been looking for 1/4-22 dies with no luck. Want to make some Mauser screws because the ones I've gotten from Brownells haven't worked. Brownells sells carbon steel taps as well as high speed so you may have gotten some of those. They aren't good for tapping many holes but they do anneal well if you break one and need to drill it out.

Bought my taps and dies from MSC. Large selection and quick delivery. Cheaper than Brownell's too.

Thanks for the lead Duane, I will call NECG this week. Might not be cheap, but it sure beats making them!
