Dago RedEasy way to tell twist rate?
Hey all, is there any way for a person at home to tell the twist rate of a barrel without fancy stuff? Curious about a couple of my rifles.

Customstoxred, put a cleaning rod and jag in the bore with a patch so it is tight fitting (an oversize brush often works also). Put a line along the top of the rod, Mark it at top dead center with a cross line. Push it in and it will rotate with the rifling. When the line is at top dead center again mark it once more. The distance between the lines is the twist.
