Unfortunately, stock modifications are absolutely not possible. There is only the choice between a straight stock (model "Magnum", with quite a lot of drop), and the humpback "Magnum Safari" stock.
I ordered the straight stock, and will see to modify it myself.
Further I ordered a Meopta 1.5-6x42 scope, and CZ one-piece mounts.
I expect to pick up the rifle in Prague in spring.

If You have to replace the stock, its a shame, the factory ones are really inletted fine.
Tell us about recoil and other results, im interested myself.
Good shooting! hermann

the scope is from the Artemis 2000 series, all-steel construction. I am a bit concerned about eye relief, which is a bit short, only 75 mm / 3 inches. If there are any problems, I will replace it immediately. But that scope is a bargain (hopefully), optics are good, price is only 10 000 Czech Crowns, or 350 Euro, and I can also find other use for it.
I'll start with the fixed, one-piece CZ mounts, so I will not worry about the iron sights now.
For the time being, I will keep the original stock. I will have my gunsmith here check if bedding is necessary. And I am thinking about putting on a higher comb, and reshaping the stock.
I also ordered 100 rounds of Norma ammo, 300 grain RN, which are quite cheap in CZ.
I expect these will give me a good impression about recoil.
I hope I can report more in April/May.

Martin
at which spot did these stocks crack?
I think there also was a thread about CZ stocks cracking here in Accuratereloading some weeks ago, but I cannot find it now.
