Hi all,
I have recenlty converted a CZ550 in 458WM to 416 Rigby, all necessary parts, follower, follower spring, mag box, bolt face and extractor.
The feed rails still need widening, but my problem is that the extractor will not fully slip over the cartridge rim and pushes rounds hard into the right hand side of the chamber.
With the bolt out of the rifle, the case slips in just fine, it is tight, but not overly.
My question is; where do I relieve the extractor so that it will work as it's supposed to?
I have now damaged so many rims, it's driving me mental. I have both new production Norma brass with the 45ยบ bevel on the rim, and old production without it, either has the same issues, if this helps.
Cheers.
