Lubricant
What is the best lubricant to use on s/s guns? I have a mini-14,a redhawk and a mkII target, and I was just wondering what would work.
Thanks,
Wyatt

Wyatt--

For stainless steel you need somethings with moly in it. I use Lubriplate.

For real problem guns smear a little copper-based anti-sieze on it and shoot it a dozen times, wipe off the excess and add a dab of Lubriplate. It works.

Break Free markets an oil called Greased Lightning advertised for use in stainless steel guns. I have been getting good results with it so far.

If you need a grease for stainless steel, Rig markets a light grease specifically for stainless steel guns.
