TailgunnerIn other applications, I've seen a lot of Dublin rotary unions used. Don't have any experance with other brands.

LongshotI personally use a Duff/North Rotary Coupling. I have been very pleased with it and it is now been use for 3 years. I have done about 1000 chambers using it with no complaints. They have a web site and MSC sells them. Mine is stainless steel has grease fitting and can be used straight or from 90 degrees bearings.
I would never go back to a nylon or plastic coupling.

Jim WhiteLongshot, Could you advise which part# you are using in the MSC catalog? I want to go to a pressure flush system and need guidance. Jim

I use a the 3/8 inch. I am using Rustlick 255R cut 5:1 from 30 - 135 psi. Water soliable and cleans up easy. Gives a great finish.
I am using a gear head pump MSC part number 09383233.

J_ZolaHello,
I buy them from
www.mcmaster.com they are all made about the same. The rotary seal wear will be detemine by how clean the fuild passing thru is.

LongshotI put a well pump filter in line. It is a 2 micron filter. I suspect it will take a few yeras to wear out.
