I posted a while ago looking for someone with experiences good or bad with this outfit only to confirm my suspicions.
Well, it turned out as I had figured. I got the response back from the USPS and a copy of the money order as it had been cashed. I don't know why I tried this outfit, but they are no longer available; no phone, no email, gone but not forgotten. I will let the USPS inspectors take up the issue, non delivery of goods. I let them have all the available info I had.

Lesson learned.

Who is "M" custom guns and what did you order from them? Jim

I ordered a short action LH remington 700, action only. The last time I talked to them, he kind of gave me the runaround and put me on hold. He came back on and said, we are taking one apart in the back room tight now and you will have it by the end of the week. Next time I called, the line had been disconnected. THey are (were) and outfit in Tennessee.

Their website address "was" www.martscustoms.com. They claimed to sell actions and barreled actions of Remington, CZ, MRC, and others.

Does anyone know of a reputable dealer in actions and barreled actions ?

Besides Montanna there is Legacy Sports (Howa and Dumolin Herstal), KBI Charles Daly (Yugo 98), Brownell's (ALMOST everything), Granite Mountain, Hein, and many others. Most of the importers like Legacy and KBI will refer you to someone in you area or find an FFL guy near you in The Gun List or on the net.
