BobsterGunsmith school option
I attended a week long workshop on Ruger revolvers last year. Very impressed with campus, curriculum, and faculty. Worth a look.

sliversI graduated from that program in '93. I am sure things have changed by now. The instructors that taught when I was there have either retired or passed on. We were still taught to make stocks by hand from a blank then. There was a lot of resistance to stockmaking, especially from the class that was to graduate the following year. I remember that the stockmaking instructor took a summer class about finishing synthetic blanks/stocks. He wasn't real happy about that, I don't think. I learned a lot there. Overall, the curriculum gave a good, solid footing for those who applied themselves.
