Can someone give me an average length of a English splinter shotgun forend. The shotgun is a 12 gauge and has 30 " barrels.

The ones I have are between 6 1/2 and 7 1/2 inches of wood added to the forend metal

A&D Iron length is approx 8 1/4" (tip of the release> end of longest "arm")

Wood length approx 7 9/16"
