Beretta Mato hinged floorplate
Greetings

I'm curious if anyone has ever seen a hinged floorplate assembly for this rifle. I've tried Beretta and Dakota thus far with no luck. If worst came to worst and I needed to have one made, who could do the work?

Thanks for all replies

It's a dakata action, right?

I would think they would have been able to help you. beyond that, i haven't seen anything aftermarket for them.

Like new_guy said, a Dakota 97 floorplate unit should work. Don't know if Dakota will sell one though.

I don't think the 97 unit will work. The mato has a detachable mag and I believe the feed rails are in the detachable unit.

The Dakota 97 has a blind magazine with no floorplate. At least mine does. The Mato is based on the Model 97 but there are signifigant differences such as the recoil lug.
The hole spacing might be close to a pre-64 Winchester, I'll have to check.........DJ
