R. Findley, barrel maker, gunsmith?

I just bought a rolling block with R. Findley .30-30 on the barrel. Probably a fairly old conversion. Anyone heard of this maker? Thanks for any help. CAT

D Humbarger

Back in 1970 I knew a D. Findley in Albequerque (sp) N.M. who was a gunsmith that used to work with Parker O. Ackley. Might be the same one.
