I'm seeking a pistolsmith to swap barrels on a Smith & Wesson M/27. Looking for someone with reasonable turnaround time for such a job. PAY ATTENTION I'M NOT looking for advice folks, thank you.

dpcdYou can do it; all you need is a vise and some hard wood. They aren't on all that tight.

The armorer at the P D in my city (hint hint) snapped a revolver frame removing a barrel.

larrysI don't know if he will even do them any more since he went almost exclusively scope mount, but Jack Wiegand did my barrel swap and customization on my model 58 back in the 90s. He is fantastic. He used to do S&W factory repair on contract.
